WHERE BIBLICAL MASCULINITY BECOMES A LIFESTYLE.
SMC (Shoot, Move, Communicate) was born out of a clear mandate from the Lord to raise valiant men like King David’s mighty warriors (2 Samuel 23:8–38). Founded by Henry Hastings, a former Green Beret, SMC combines both the tactical and the spiritual elements. While training in the use of firearms and defensive skills is vital to protecting hearth and home, Henry emphasizes that true biblical masculinity begins with identity in Christ. Once men catch a revelation of who they are in Him, they can live with purity, power, and purpose by the power of the Holy Spirit — advancing the Kingdom of God and setting captives free.
Since 2023, SMC has hosted 3 and 5 day in-person training events where men powerfully encounter God while being equipped both spiritually and practically. SMC is expanding its tent pegs beyond the in-person training events into a living, ongoing brotherhood through the SMC Tribe online community and academy. Here, men connect daily, sharpen one another through accountability, access discipleship courses and challenges, and continue their growth long after the events.
The vision is simple yet profound: to see a generation of men restored to biblical masculinity — men who will protect their families, provide with integrity, and disciple others with courage. Through the community hub, discipleship academy, and continued training events, SMC exists to forge modern-day Minutemen who walk in faith as warriors of purity and power.
