ABOUT THE EVENT

SHOOT MOVE COMMUNICATE is a Combat Pistol/Carbine Training Experience for Christian men.

 

SHOOT: Learn the fundamentals of combat shooting with pistol and carbine, including draw, high ready, low ready, combat reloads, and tactical reloads.

 

MOVE: Learn to shoot on the move with a rifle to a pistol while engaging multiple steel targets.

 

COMMUNICATE: Go deep in your relationship with your Heavenly Father, connect to Him, and who you are in Him as a son to arise and shine and advance the Kingdom.

 

This training experience is designed for Christian men who believe the times at hand require a high standard of personal excellence in both physical and spiritual readiness, including proficiency with firearms. Build camaraderie with like-minded brothers. Develop intimacy with your Heavenly Father.

 

You will not leave this experience the same!

EVENT DETAILS

  • Total retreat cost for 4 nights/3 days, including training, lodging, and high-quality meals: $2,595

​

  • SMC 3-Day Training Dates: Plan your travel itinerary to arrive at the facility between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, for check-in and gear check. Train Thursday - Saturday. Depart Sunday 10/11/26 by 10 AM. 

 

  • You are responsible for your transportation to the training facility, which is 1.5 hours from Boise, ID.

 

  • We are offering two course options at this training: our Basic/Intermediate Pistol/Carbine and our Advanced Pistol/Carbine (available to previous SMC graduates only).

FAQ

Required Equipment 

 

  • 9mm Pistol with three magazines, two magazine pouches, gun belt, holster, ear, and eye protection.

  • AR-15 Rifle, Combat Application Sling, three magazines, two magazine pouches, zero or low magnification optic (4x or lower).

  • Variable power optics are delicate. Plate carrier optional.

Estimated Round Count

 

3-Day Basic/Intermediate Pistol/Carbine

  • 700 rds. 9mm Pistol; 300 rds. .223 carbine ball; 300 rds. .223 carbine frangible.

 

3-Day Advanced Pistol/Carbine (for previous SMC graduates only)

  • 1000 rds 9mm Pistol; 325 rds. .223 carbine; 750 rds. .223 carbine frangible.

EVENT DETAILS

Training Address

The training facility is a world-class facility, 1.5 hours' drive from Boise, ID. The address is ONLY provided to those who register.

 

Nearest airport

BOI Boise International Airport. TWF Twin Falls, Idaho, is a 45-minute drive to the training facility; however, flights are limited, so we recommend using Boise.

 

Weather

Temperatures in the training area this time of year range from a low of 39°F to a high of 65°F. Please pack accordingly, as we train in rain, snow, or shine.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

A $1,000 deposit is 100% refundable up to 75 days from the start date, and thereafter it becomes non-refundable.

 

$1,595 balance must be paid 45 days before Day 1

 

50% of the balance is refundable up to 20 days before Day 1

 

30% of the balance is refundable up to 10 days before Day 1

 

This schedule is in place because we are contractually obligated to provide your training, regardless of whether you attend or not.

SMC TACTICAL SHOOTING EXPERIENCE PARTICIPANT RELEASE AGREEMENT

I desire to participate in a firearm training class (the “Class”) conducted by Shoot Move Communicate, MAJ. Henry W. Hastings III, and Dreams Come Inc. (“SMC”).


I certify that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and able to legally purchase and possess a firearm.


I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the SMC with knowledge of the serious nature of the SMC and the subject matter involved in SMC. I also acknowledge that the SMC is intended to be for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for legal advice. I acknowledge that the use of firearms is a dangerous activity. I acknowledge that the risks and dangers associated with the use of firearms include serious bodily injury, death, and property damage. I further acknowledge that it is not possible to list all of the risks which may be encountered in the use of firearms or which I may encounter by reason of having participated in the SMC (“Risks”). I acknowledge that Risks may not be known at this time, may not be foreseen, and may not be reasonably foreseeable. I specifically acknowledge that Risks may not have been and may not be capable of being described to me. 


I assume all Risks, inherent or otherwise, that may occur due to, arise out of, or exist in connection with my participation in the class. My assumption of Risks includes, without limitation: (1) property damage, loss, or theft; (2) personal injury; and/or (3) wrongful death that may result from or arise out of my participation in the SMC. 


For Myself, and on my behalf of my family members, personal representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, agents, and assignees (“My Group”), I hereby release, agree not to sue, and forever discharge, SMC, MAJ. Henry W. Hastings III, and Dreams Come Inc. from any and all manner of claims or causes of action, known or unknown (Claims”) that I have or might have against the Released Parties arising out of or in connection with the SMC. Claims include, without limitation, any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, proceedings, liabilities, damages, lawsuits, judgments, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) that I may suffer, directly or indirectly, due to, arising out of, or in connection with my participation or conduct (negligent or otherwise) in the SMC and/or the conduct (negligent or otherwise) of Other Persons and/or the Released Parties. 


To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from and against and all Claims by third parties (including my family members) for any bodily injury, death, property damage, or other incident occurring due to, arising out of, or in connection with my participation in the SMC and/or my conduct (negligent or otherwise).


I acknowledge that information provided to me in connection with the SMC (“SMC Information”) is for the sole purpose of my instruction and/or participation in the SMC. I acknowledge that I do not intend to and will not use SMC Information to instruct others. 


I also agree not to sue and agree to waive, release, and discharge the Released Parties from and against any and all Claims arising out of or in connection with my use of the SMC Information.


I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I WAIVE ANY RIGHT THAT I MAY HAVE NOW OR WILL HAVE TO BRING ANY LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANY LIABILITIES WHICH MIGHT ARISE OR OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SMC, THE SMC INFORMATION, AND/OR MY INFORMATION, WHETHER OR NOT RESULTING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. 


I FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS A COMPLETE RELEASE OF LIABILITY.


I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire Agreement. I have carefully read this Agreement. I agree to be bound by this Agreement.
